Communicating for Stakeholder Alignment
Visuals are not decoration. They’re a strategic tool. I use images and wire frames to clarify direction, communicate systems, and bring stakeholders into alignment.
I don’t just create visuals; I design shared understanding.
A Comparison of Old and New Web Page Designs
At Oracle, I collaborated with the UX team to design a new, fully branded webpage builder tool (Discovery) to replace the existing tool (Interface Page Builder) that produced simple, black-and-white pages.
To gain the buy-in of our content team stakeholders, I developed a series of wire frames turning their existing interface pages into Discovery pages. To give stakeholders a realistic view of how their new Discovery pages would look, I built wire frames in Figma, leveraging the Discovery design components.
As I walked each team through their transformed Discovery pages, I used the opportunity to identify edge cases and uncover additional needs to feed back into project planning.
Engaging stakeholders during the planning and design phases of the project reduced resistance to this change.

Messaging the Benefits
I developed messaging to communicate the benefits of a new webpage builder tool (Discovery) to stakeholders. I made the features and benefits memorable using a tagline (How Discovery delights our customers and makes your job easier), alliteration (Seek, Style, Search, Simple, SEO) and related icons.
I even dreamed up the name “Discovery” as it creates webpages that allow customers to discover content.
